Description: Four examples of music from the Parisian Belle Epoque. The first three works listed above date from 1894 to1900 while Hahn’s 32-minute suite of twelve waltzes, laced with a melancholy nostalgia, dates from 1915 and marks the end of that glittering and happy period as the First World War put a grim end to it. Ludmila Berlinskaya, Arthur Ancelle (pianos).
