Description: Offered for the only CD recording of the 24-minute Tetratkys of 1959, premiered by Severino Gazzelloni. It was only discovered among Scelsi's papers in 2007 although a tape of its first performance was known before that; it contains as its second movement the earlier (1954) Pwyll. Elegant and refined, it is in the neighborhood of solo flute pieces by Varèse and Jolivet in its evocation of ritual and "oriental" atmospheres.
