Description: Pick-Mangiagalli's early (1906) sonata, written for his violinist brother and himself to play in recitals, is a typical late Romantic piece, not as effusive as many, more concerned with metrical and formal experimenting; the three short works are two salon-style pieces and a transcription of a baroque piece for the fourth string only.
