Description: The biggest work here is the 31-minute Hiawatha's Wedding Feast, resplendent in early 60s EMI stereo and not otherwise available on disc (the previous version, on Classics for Pleasure, is long gone). The first part of The Song of Hiawatha (once on Argo, also no longer available), it was for a long time the only piece which kept the composer's name alive on record. The Coleridge-Taylor disc in Marco Polo's British Light Music series contained the other three works here - their only other recordings.
