Description: Collectors of middle-European repertoire will find much attractive, mostly neo-classical material here, with the main works being Novák's 1983 Marsyas (which has Impressionistic touches as well), and Feld's 2005 sonatina, both spiky and sparky with dissonances used as flavoring in a tonal medium. From farther east comes the 2009 sonata by the Ruthenian/Hungarian Gyöngyösi, also neo-classical in style and using original material inspired by folk music. Jean-Louis Beaumadier (piccolo), Jordi Torrent (piano).
