Description: In these World Premiere Recordings made from a just-published of manuscripts in the Prussian State Library in Berlin, we not only find Benda approaching C.P.E. Bach in the sensitivity and expressiveness of the Empfindsamkeit style, but also an insight into contemporary ornamentation: each of these 34 sonatas comes with fully written-out "improvisations".
