Description: All these pieces are from Richter’s Mannheim years (post-1746), the earlier of them still showing traits of the Italian late baroque and the later ones early Classicism - e.g. the trio sonatas employ the lower voice as a full member of the conversation - while still exhibiting the composer’s skill at counterpoint.
