Description: A collection of arias and scenas, mostly taken from existing opera libretti by these two Italian composers resident in Spain and known more for their instrumental and orchestral music. A young Serbian soprano and Spanish period-instrument group attend to the drama and expressiveness of pieces from the last third of the 18th century which would have been written for private aristocratic performace.
