Description: The flute was Boismortier’s favorite instrument but he also gives the violin plenty to do in these sonatas. And the Takács (1980) and Genzmer (1962) are as easily enjoyable in their simple communicativeness, especially the last six Paisiello Variations which are in the styles of Bach, Liszt, Schubert, Paganini, Debussy and Bartók. Katharina Fasoli-von Harten (violin), Valerio Fasoli (flute).
