Description: Naxos, using different orchestral forces this time, continues to follow cpo with their own Beck cycle (07M040), this one on modern instruments. Beck is now credited with being the most obvious predecessor of Haydn, Boccherini and Beethoven due to his early use of dual thematic material, motivic working-out and bold harmonic progressions.
