Description: All of this chamber music belongs to the "English" tradition: lyrical melodies and often with the imprint of English folksong. Everything here is from the 1940s, the same period as the gorgeous violin concerto which we offered just last month (09Q002), except for the Phantasy Quintet of 1933 from which Milford used a theme for the first movement of the violin concerto.
