Description: Busoni collectors should be interested in this shaved-down, 75-minute "concert version" of Busoni's then-unfinished opera which conductor Boult prepared himself for this 1959 live performance. The notes and reminiscences of the performers are by John Amis (still going strong at 89), who did the original broadcast notes to be read over the BBC. No libretto.
