Description: Spisak, a 1937 emigré to Paris where he remained the rest of his rather short life, had a style based wholly in Neo-classicism but not without a personal diversity of experiment. The 1943 Suite has a transparent texture in which Spisak clearly refers to the Baroque tradition; the sonata of 1946 shows very rich, diverse texture, varied in terms of harmony and sound color) and the Concerto (1942) is a very spectacular work, extremely diverse, as far as the sound is concerned; highly demanding for the pianists). Anna Czaicka-Jaklewicz (piano), Adam Mokrus (violin), Łukasz Trepscyński (second piano).
