Description: Margola's lyrical type of neo-classicism, often colored with a gentle melancholy, makes him a kind of Italian Poulenc and these very attractive quintets - fone from 1933 and one from 1946 - are perfect additions to the collections of anyone who enjoys that French composer or to those who follow the Italian neo-classicists like Longo, Malipiero, Casella, Pizzini and Pizzetti.
