Description: Tebaldini, along with Lorenzo Perosi, was one of the most active members of the group of musicians and composers who led the Cecilian reforms in Italian sacred music (he was also the first Italian to enroll - in 1888 - in the renowned Kirchenmusikschule in Regensburg, Germany). This double-disc set provides highlights from his back-to-Palestrina œuvre which fought to remove all operatic elements from church music. 2 CDs.
