CARL STAMITZ (1745-1801): 3 Clarinet Quartets, Op. 19, Clarinet Quartets in D, Op. 14/3 & in A, Op. 14/6.

Description: The op. 14 works are short, salon-style pieces made for domestic performance but the much larger-scale op. 19, possibly dating from Stamitz' time in London are in the quartetto concertante style - the clarinet part is much more soloistic (and the first movements are longer than the entire op. 14 quartets).
