Description: Although these are arrangements (which, as the notes rightly point out, were utterly common in the period when these composers worked - although a double bass as a soloist might not have been common), we offer them for the two duets by the French virtuoso violinist which were presumably for two violins and continuo (the notes aren't enthusiastic about telling us about the original instrumentation of these pieces).
