Description: A recreation of the infamous Carnegie Hall concerto of 1927 where the Ballet is performed in its exact original orchestration (Antheil revised it in 1952 and emasculated it). Only if you hear this version will you understand why Paris and New York audiences rioted! This is also the original Paul Whiteman Orchestra version of the 1925 Jazz Symphony (also revised by Antheil later). All four of these works were on the program that night. Original 1992 MusicMasters release.
