Description: As we said when the second volume of this series came out two years ago (04T006): “Listening to the six symphonies so far released in this series one becomes more and more incredulous that they have been almost unknown and almost never recorded. Dynamic, dramatic, energetic, richly orchestrated, they are not far below the best of late Haydn and early Schubert”.
