Description: The son of Franz (František) and nephew of Georg (Jiří), this Benda was just another of more Benda’s hanging around Berlin than you could shake a stick at. These are very attractive additions to the viola repertoire (like those by the Stamitzes and Rolla), especially the Third which is particularly diverting with its prominint horn parts and à la chasse finale.
