Description: David selected 20 of the 24 piano etudes of 1826 by Ignaz Moscheles and turned them into 55 minutes worth of studies for the violin. The pianist's right hand often works note-for-note on the violin; it's where the left hand has taxing things to do that David's compositional magic comes into play. Reto Kuppel (violin).
