Description: This explores the same territory as Acte Préalable's "Musica Claromontana" series: forgotten Polish composers of religious music in the high Classical style. Niestrawski's 55-minute mass was probably composed after 1812 but is firmly in the Mozart-Haydn style, using a full classical orchestra but unusually, just two soloists, both sopranos and both given much virtuosic music to handle.
