Description: If you liked the double concerto which we first offered just four months ago on Cello Classics (see 03P065 for details), you'll certainly want to hear these other two works also dedicated to Pablo Casals. The concerto (1906) is markedly contrapuntal, a nod to Casals' love of Bach and the five-minute Prelude (c.1911-12) surrounds a virtuoso center with slower, cantabile sections.
