Description: An hour's worth of mostly otherwise-unavailable early 20th century French music with the Auric and Ibert works being the longest (15 and 11 minutes respectively); Auric's is menacing, goofy, abrasive, thunderous and just plain weird at times, making you wonder what the dancing must have looked lit while Ibert's was originally a piano piece dedicated to a person with that name (not the place). Chamber Philharmonic of Bohemia;  Douglas Bostock.  Original 1998 Classico release.
