Description: A virtuoso on both violin and viola, Rolla was also a teacher of Paganini and was much admired by the latter. His duets, in fact, require Paganinian technical ability: no other examples of this genre can compare with these works, where violin and viola, on equal terms, intertwine tracing acrobatic passages of dazzling virtuosity.
