Description: Undated and existing in only one manuscript each, these concertos are by an Austrian of Italian parents who went back to Italy in 1751 to spend the rest of his career. The A major work is for violin and strings and is the most baroque-sounding. The one in D minor adds winds and horns to a work in galant style while the C major must be the latest since there are some stylistic and formal similarities with concertos by Haydn. Their technical difficulty suggests that they were written for important violinists. Auser Musici; Francesco D'Orazio (violin).
