Description: The presence of the well-known Górecki and Kilar pieces will let you what the theme of this new release is: Polish music of various ages and sources (including, in Twardowski's Triptych, sacred material) arranged for string orchestra. Moryto's 2011 set, a world premiere recording, fits right in (although at greater length) with Lutoslawski's early setting of five folk tunes, although with Moryto, it's a case of "is it real folk music or an almost perfect imitation?".
