Description: Davis created this 72-minute score in 1987 for the original, silent film from 1925 and recorded it two years later. Using leitmotivs, it's opulent and Straussian in quality. The booklet has two pages on the making of the original film, five pages of track-by-track synopsis and eight pages containing eight stills from the film and one period poster.
