Description: As in such compilations of studies by Bartók and Hindemith, these Dialogues, the first 25 from 1951 and the rest from 1957, were designed for students in gradually increasing difficulty but also providing compositional value rather than being mere technical studies, the students learning to interpret as well as perform.
