Description: Although the sonatas have appeared complete (all three) on the Genesis label, none of the remainder of this music is available on disc. The Persian literary genre of the Ghazal was adopted by Hiller (suing the French name) to create very short pieces in which repetition of accompaniment and/or a short phrase, varied in its reappearances, is the main characteristic; two of the excerpted pieces from Opp. 81 and 130 are also members of this genre.
