Description: Unlike his Op. 1 publication of violin sonatas, considered unperformable by anyone but the composer, this 1739 set is predominantly homophonic and seems to be concerned primarily with the expressiveness of melody given that it bristles with ornaments, dynamic signs and expression indications.
