Description: A second batch of recent Vivaldi discoveries, led by four arias from a lost opera of 1725, two from a Belgian aristocratic family archive and two from the Berlin State Library. The fifth aria here, from 1727's Ipermestra, was found at UC Berkeley. Il Gran Mogol turned up in the National Archives of Scotland; the violin concerto in Dresden and the two violin sonatas in a volume sold at Sotheby's in London in 1994. Italian-English texts.
