Description: The above listing of contemporary piano music from Germany, England, Russia, Poland and the U.S. totals 84 minutes. The remaining 143 minutes of music on this series of live recordings from the 2006 Ruhr Piano Festival consist of standard rep: a whole disc of Mozart (although it does include Hummel's transcription for piano, flute, violin and cello of the Piano Concerto No. 26), and then Beethoven, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Franck and Rachmaninov.
