Description: And yet more warm, tuneful, cheerful Brahmsian chamber music from a composer finally getting his due. The forces may be unusual (only Beethoven, Mozart and Witt wrote quintets for this combination and no one else at the time the trio was written) but the music is as attractive as ever, particularly the trio which dates from 1889 and which marked the joyful return to health after a two-year bout with rheumatism.
