Description: The origin of these recordings is uncertain. Have they been issued before somewhere else? We don't know. But they were made rather long ago, 1997-8. Svendsen's symphonies are coming close to being standard repetoire now with six other versions of each available. But the Norwegian Rhapsodies are still rare, along with the Andante funèbre and prelude to Sigurd Slembe's stage music.
