Description: Franck is mainly remembered for his three mature masterpieces: the Violin Sonata, the Piano Quintet and the String Quartet. However, right from his early days in Paris, the young piano virtuoso wrote and performed a number of compositions, chiefly keyboard trios (substantial pieces, two of them over 30 minutes in length), which were published in 1843 as his op. 1 and earned him a favorable opinion from Franz Liszt! 4 CDs. Quartetto Adorno, Trio Ernest, Karski Quartet and 15 other performers.
