Description: The contents of two LPs issued in 1975 and 1977 (totalling just under 80 minutes), this collaboration between equally formidable and imposing soloist and conductor has been long wished-for by many collectors of the CD era. The works themselves have been newly recorded in Chandos' ongoing recent Scott series but this historic collaboration will always be on a different shelf, so to speak.
