Description: Except for one work, this release duplicates a 1994 Chandos issue which is the only other recording available of the two-violin concerto from 1929, a slender-enough work of 15 minutes but one whose brush with bitonality in its second movement and other mildly "modern" tendencies would have pricked up ears at the time.
