Description: Harp rarities, the biggest of which is Tailleferre’s collection of etudes composed between 1912 and 1917 and bearing the name of her teacher, a legendary professor of harp at the Paris Conservatory. Hansen-Jamet (her husband was the notable harpist Pierre Jamet) produced her ten-minute set of variations in 1946. No date is given for Charpentier’s piece, remarkable for its luxuriant writing and densely woven episodes. Alessandra Ziveri (harp).
