Description: Two years ago we offered an orchestral CD from Croatia by this composer. Now we have piano music, some of which was reconstructed from fragmentary manuscripts (much of Rogowski’s music perished in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising). The style is very conservatively Romantic with much Polish folk color; Chopin and Moniuszko were his primary influences but Debussy floats by now and then too.
