Description: Dancla was the last of the French school of violinists which began with Viotti and went through Rode, Baillot and Kreutzer. This half-hour long "Little School of Melody" which neither the notes nor two dictionaries will provide the date of, is a typical suite of twelve dances and slower character pieces of the refined and elegant French salon type.
