Description: After sets of preludes for piano (08I092) and for violin and piano (07F068), both on BIS, this third set of preludes moves on to the cello. Dating from 1999 (the same year as the other preludes), this cycle continues the plan: individual pieces yet making up a single, united composition in the same direct, emotional, neo-Romantic style which also employs harmonics, microtones, sul ponticello effects and glissandi to paint strong, sometimes grotesque or eerie colors.
