Description: The 43-minute Missa Solemnis is an early work, from around 1780, not long after Pleyel finished his five years os study with Haydn and it sounds like it. The Te Deum (1790) is another typically extrovert and jubilant example of this genre. Cornelia Hübsch (soprano), Daniela Treffner (mezzo), Donát Havár (tenor), Steven Scheschareg (bass-baritone), Capella Cantorum Savariense, Camerata pro Musica; Martin Brauß. 2012 release.
