Description: The earliest pieces here date from 1904 or thereabouts and the latest from 1926. All of them are examples of Rozycki's reconciliation of emotionally expansive late Romanticism with hints of Expressionism and Impressionistic nuances, colors and harmonies. With Acte Préalable's two concerto discs (06M005 and 07N003) and Hyperion's disc of his string quartet (01K064), no one can be in doubt of this composer's bona fide Romantic credentials any longer.
