Description: The Audite monopoly on this composer is broken for at least this release: two of these tonally beautiful and technically masterful works were already recorded by Audite - the violin sonata, offered here in 2008 (11K047) and the cello sonata in 2000 (12C004). But that's practically ancient history and, besides, the piano trio, at 28 mintes, is the longest work here and is shot through with a lovely Schumannian/ Mendelssohnian lyricism.
