Description: An Austrian bandmaster and composer of light music, songs and duets, Pazeller's career was first derailed when he remained in Hungary after the First World War and was forgotten by his Austrian compatriots. Then, after the Second World War, the Hungarian Communist regime deprived him of his pension because he was German-speaking. Hungaroton, excavating unpublished archival material, offers a second disc (the first was of marches) of songs and duets - all first recordings. No texts. Ibolya Nagy (soprano), János Pere (tenor), Jakob Pazeller Salon Orchestra; János Péntek.
