Description: In November of 2004, cpo released all but one of the 18 sonatas of op. 2. Published 18 years later in 1673, op. 10 contains some four-part works possibly intended for orchestral performance, still notable for their marked thematic character and concentrated, intensifying elaboration which had some influence on Torelli, Vivaldi and Bach.
