Description: The theme of this recording is music either by Danish composers or by composers known and regularly performed in Denmark: late baroque material from all three composers while the Suite, a series of dances originally orchestral but intabulated for guitar by the teachers of Princess Charlotte Amalie, helps redress the lack of Danish baroque-period music due to the two major fires in the city (1728, 1795), the burning-down of Christiansborg Castle (1794) and the English bombardment of the city in 1807. Bolete Roed (recorder), Arte dei Suonatori. SACD hybrid
