Description: Cauciello was another Neapolitan musician (violin and flute but probably also played the mandolin) who made his living in Germany, Poland and France, where the delicate plucked-string instrument was particularly popular in the second half of the 18th century. These trios probably date from 1762-70 and the duets are also stylistically likely to be from the same period. Tesoro Harmonico.
