Description: These songs and keyboard works, though only collected and published in 1780, are early pieces, the songs and Sonatinas slender in length (none reaching three minutes) and simple in content and style while the keyboard sonatas, though in three-movement form lasting 10-14 minutes, do not partake much of the Empfindsam style of emotionalism; the "violin sonata" is actually still a trio sonata, the right hand of the harpsichordist and the violin being the melody parts.
